Below we provide a few examples of strategies and tools parents use to be present and to manage substances our kids may have access to.
Properly dispose of old prescription pills in a Prescription Drop Box - they can be found in many sheriff's stations
throughout the County - find the nearest one here -
Pay it forward - Be Creative & make someone's day - find a favorite rock and saying or word, paint it and give it to a friend.  You can also help them pay gratitude forward by including some thank you notes.

Be inspired by the perspective of others.  
The website 
has motivational quotes submitted by teens for teens.  Parents, you can leave these quotes as notes on a door, mirror, in a car, on a notebook - anywhere your teen might be.
